Floral Peplum Top

Don't mind the headless pictures...it's just better this way...#insomnia

And suddenly we're days away from Christmas.  I, of course, will have to finish shopping during my lunch breaks this year because life.  Oh and I also have not sent out our Christmas cards.  Frankly, I'm surprised that I even remembered to order them this year.  One day, I will have my sh*t together but today is just not that day.

I'm still loving this floral peplum top that I bought earlier in the summer.  Although, I can't find it online, I linked a similar top below!

Christmas at Disney World 2016

Another Disney trip in the books!  We love living so close to the parks that we can just pop on over and spend the whole morning at one of our favorite places, the Magic Kingdom.  Lucas is at the perfect age to enjoy everything and I love experiencing that with him.  Little Miss Olivia also got a button since it was her first time at Magic Kingdom.  We went to Epcot when she was 2 months old since it's an easy park to maneuver and we weren't sure what Disney would be like with a baby.  Luckily, Disney is amazing and the babycare centers are top notch.  If you are ever hesitant on taking a baby to Disney, don't be.  Changing and feeding Olivia was a dream.  Not only are the employees there asking me if I needed any assistance, there's also a movie/tv room for siblings to be entertained.  In fact, when I had to change Olivia, I wasn't near the babycare center but there was a nice resting area under a tent where I could quietly feed her while my husband took Lucas on the Dumbo ride.  Disney truly is magical for people of all ages!  And Christmas time at Disney World, I mean, it just can't get any better than that.

That Time I Matched My Kids

Yep, that's right.  I bought us all matching outfits.  No shame in my game.  I even bought my husband a matching shirt but he wouldn't wear it.  Rude.  So he looked like the odd man out, not me of course.  The lady matching her kids, nope, I didn't look weird AT ALL.  In fact, I plan on matching my kids in the future.  Yep.  In all seriousness, I couldn't wait for this day to come.  When I was little, my mom made us all match and I hated it.  Now, I plan on trying to get away with matching as much as I can.  Since I know my husband doesn't read here often, I'm going to make sure he is in the car and not looking when I put the kids in the car so that when we get to our destination, POOF, we're ALL matching and he won't have an opportunity to change.  I'm a genius.

Family Gift Guide 2016

It's that time again!  Of course, I will wait until the weekend before Christmas to start shopping because I always procrastinate.  This past weekend, instead of holiday present shopping, instead I ended up buying the kids more clothes since the deals were so good!  I'll start holiday shopping soon and in the meantime have been making lists of things to get for family members.  Every year I say I'll start shopping in October but no...I'll wait until the weekend before...

Winter is Coming

And by winter, I mean Florida winter as in 65 degrees and it feels wonderful.  The weather has been cooling down here and the moment I felt even the slightest of cool air, I went into full panic mode realizing that Lucas had outgrown his sweaters and I did not have even one sweater for Olivia.  #momfail.  Never fear because I shopped my little heart out and bought my littles a whole new set of cold weather clothes only to wake up the next day to 80 degree weather...womp womp.

The Trumpet Sleeve

I thought long about this purchase.  To trumpet sleeve or not to bell sleeve.  Typically, if I have to think about buying something this way, I usually end up not purchasing it because it isn't something that I just have to have or, of course, need.  In this case, I thought, it's pretty and I literally have nothing like it so why not?  I have to say, the color is pretty and it was a nice change from my usual tunics and/or striped top.  I'm trying to branch out more and out of my box/rut and although I'm by no means a risk taker when it comes to fashion, it's baby steps towards a more rounded wardrobe for me.
