The Lazy Girls Maternity Guide

I've pretty much spent my entire pregnancy thus far in long shirts/tunics and maternity pants.  I think I've mentioned a trillion times how sick I was at the beginning and now, although the nausea is gone (thank god!), I'm now so tired and having braxton hicks contractions.  Thankfully, baby girl is doing great which is all I care about.  Since I'm still working full time, I'm still trying to look put together and this pretty much my go to uniform which I don't mind because they are items that I either wore or can wear post-pregnancy.  My hair and makeup are a different story - keepin' it real around here...

The White Pants

This here is a first for me...white pants.  White pants while pregnant no less.  I can't lie, throughout the entire day, I would examine my pants to see if I smeared ink...or cheetos...but, thankfully, these survived an entire day at the office.  And I have to say, I'm a fan!  I practically live in blank or dark gray work pants so this was a nice departure.  Maybe I'll even brave some white jeans #goals

The Perfect White Top

I bought this top before I was pregnant and so happy that it is one that will grow with me.  My tummy has popped A LOT A LOT A LOT more than when I was pregnant with Lucas at this point in the pregnancy.  I feel and look like I'm much further along than I am.  I'm happy that I can still wear the clothes that I love while having a big preggo belly.  I know these days are numbered...

Struggling

For most of this pregnancy, I haven't worn any maternity tops and have been living in tunics.  Clearly, this poor chambray top is struggling to stay buttoned!  Luckily, no buttons were harmed in the making of this post.

Weekend Photo Diary

We had a busy weekend that started out with our first Easter Egg hunt of the year.  Lucas is a pro and takes it VERY seriously.  Our friends throw a great Easter Egg hunt every year and it's always a fun time.  Check out the determination below!

On Sunday, we went to Disney's Animal Kingdom and my mom joined us as well.  Lucas is really into Lion King/Guard, Tarzan, and Finding Nemo so we knew he would love this park as well.  He so loved the Festival of the Lion King show and walking the trails to spy on some gorillas and zebras.  I absolutely love experiencing Disney through him.

Yeah, I just really don't enjoy shopping for my little girl...not one bit...Ok, I'm obsessed.  Even my mom told me to slow my roll.  It's just so hard when everything is too darn cute.  This sleeper below has to be one of my favorites because it's a "Central Park" graphic sleeper.  Central Park holds a special place in my heart as it's where my husband proposed to me.

Maternity Work Wear

As much as I'd like to wear leggings and a baggy t-shirt all day every day, this pesky thing called going to work at an office gets in my way.  I was so sick during the first couple of months with this babe that I literally just wanted to stay in bed all day in my comfy clothes.  Now that I'm feeling more like myself, it does make a big difference to put some makeup and a dress on in the mornings.  Plus, if I get told one more time that I don't look well (which has happened one too many times lately) I might just go buck-wild.
