Red Shirted

Those shades are hiding a seriously exhausted walking zombie.  For reals.  Not only has work been crazy, Lucas has been sick, and my hubby and I have been working on a project together that I hope to share here soon.  No, it's not a baby :-)  It's not super secretive what we've been working on but I want to make a proper post for it and I hope to get the post up soon.  Before then, I should probably wash my hair, sleep, eat, be human, or something like that before I get on the computer again.  Hope you all are having a great week!

It's a very busy time for me and unfortunately, all I have time for in the morning is the crappy morning mirror pics.  The fact that I'm leaving the house when it's still dark outside is criminal.  Oy vey.

Fall Festival

Small town living definitely has its perks and our town during the fall is definitely one of them.  Not only is college football back in swing but the fall festivities begin.  My husband and I had to work a good bit on Saturday so we were very much looking forward to going to a local fall festival on Sunday to celebrate a birthday party.  It was our first time going to this particular festival but it was just the cutest of the cute!  I kept saying the whole time how adorable everything looked.  If you have ever seen the movie Doc Hollywood, the festival is where the movie was filmed and it's almost as if time never changed.  Well, we had fun running through the corn maze, eating homemade ice cream, sipping on homemade cider, and checking out the horses.  I wish fall time would just never ever end.

Fall Plaid

I think I've complained enough on this blog over how busy and blah I've been feeling lately.  And what do I do to get out of a blah funk?  Why shopping and chop my hair off of course!  But seriously, I hardly shop for myself anymore and when I do, it's something that I really love and/or need.  This sweater fell into the really really want category and it's true, I really really love it.  As for my hair, I've been loving short hair lately and felt like a trim was in order to boost up my spirits.  As superficial as it sounds, these did the trick and I have a little more pep in my step these days :-)

Pumpkin Patch 2015

We had a great little weekend that included a trip to the pumpkin patch.  It's a new tradition we started once Lucas was born to go buy a pumpkin at a pumpkin patch and it is quickly becoming one of my favorite fall activities.  The weather was great and the company was even better!  I love living in a world with Octobers :-)

Still Going

Sweater: Loft  /  Shirt: J.Crew {Similar}  /  Pants: Old Navy  /  Shoes: Sole Society {Similar}  /  Bag: Louis Vuitton

Proof.  I'm still running out the door, sometimes with wet hair, mostly in messy ponytails and not the messy cool ponytails.  Why would I post such a disheveled picture on my blog?  Because I'm working on little sleep and who knows of anything lately.  The end of the year is one of the busiest times at work and I'm definitely feeling and looking like it...
