The Blue Tunic

I didn't much to share this weekend besides getting an amazing facial but ain't no way I'm posting a pic of my bare face on here.  So please excuse the crappy Iphone pics but I LOVE this blouse!  It's a recent purchase from Express and on top of having the most vibrant blue color, it is super comfortable.  I'm a tunic phase of life and this little guy fits right in!

 There's Mia hanging out behind!

Random Recent Purchases

I've been MIA this week because work has been absolutely crazy, crazy good, but crazy busy.  In fact, I haven't really been dressing up this week since I'm trying to be a drafting machine and needing to come in early.  So I've been trying to kill two birds with one stone by taking short lunch breaks and getting in grocery shopping, etc, done during my breaks.  Of course, I snuck in some fun purchases to break up the monotony.  Below is some random stuff I picked up this week:

I'm a humongous germaphobe and even receive huge container of antibacterial tubs for my birthday from co-workers.  I went to pick up some antibacterial from Bath and Body Works and saw these super cute antibacterial holders shown above and below!  They are so cute and I'm now obsessed with holders.  My favorite scent is Warm Vanilla Sugar which can be hard to find.  Of course I love the one that is hard for me to find.  I took pictures of all the holders on my bags and I snuck in a picture of a holder I got at Disney that Lucas picked out.  I wanted one that matched my Disney bag which happened to be the Little Mermaid but Lucas vetoed for Donald.  #boymom

I went in to Target for Drano but, as always, I left with much more.  Target is killing it in the home department!  I love the plaid cooking spoon and the copper measuring spoons!  How adorable is the binder and blanket too.  Target also had some Halloween washi tapes out which I just had to get for my planner obsession.  Oh, and I forgot to buy Drano.

I love the Pioneer Woman so when I saw pictures of her new collection at Walmart I knew I had to get my hands on it.  I just love love the measuring bowls and cup!  They're almost too pretty to use haha!  The pattern looks just like some of my Anthopologie stuff.  My Walmart didn't have the whole collection out so hopefully I'll be able to get the mugs soon.

Weekend Photo Diary

We went to Epcot at Disney World this weekend and had a great time.  Epcot happens to be my personal favorite park.  While Magic Kingdom is the best for younger kids because there is more for them to ride, I love love Epcot and so does Lucas.  I love going around each of the countries to see the sights and maybe grab a little something to eat.  I, obviously, love France but my favorite place to grab candy at is Norway.  Norway is being renovated to incorporate Frozen and I can't wait!  Lucas was a little scared in the rides which was strange since he's gone to Disney so often this year and has never been even the slightest bit scared.  I think the darkness kind of scared him so I'm hoping that it's just a phase.  Other than that, Disney is a great place for us to go for the day since it really allows Lucas to get his energy out.

I'm sure you all know but, FALL STARTS THIS WEEK!  So of course, I had to do a fall themed week in my planner, duh.  HAPPY FALL!

I'm not excited for fall...nope not at all.  YES I AM!  And my planner week definitely shows it.

Won't You Be My Neighbor

It's been the longest week in all of the land and I wanted to brighten things up and wear this dress that I've had in my closet for awhile.  I've had my argyle sweater for awhile and it always reminds me of Mr. Rogers.  I have to admit that I was so stressed the entire day that I would stain my dress by food or pen marks but luckily there were no stains.  I have to count the little victories.  Happy weekend!

Oldie But A Goodie

I've had this Anthropologie sweater in my closet for a couple years now and I remember thinking at the time, "is it me?"  But at the same time, I couldn't not buy it.  That's when I know I really want something, if I absolutely positively must have it.  It's been awhile since I've felt that way about a piece of clothing.  Lately, I've been craving furniture and/or some sort of home decor which tells me one thing...I'm old.

Weekend Photo Diary

I'm about to be the most basic of all the basics...I flipping love fall.  This weekend I broke out some of my favorite things of fall such as dark nail polishes, Leaves candle, and a little decorating.

Here's what I wore to wear errands this weekend and when I say weekend, I mean the entire weekend...as in I wore this two days in a row...I disgust myself.  I've said it before and I'll say it again -- it is rare for me to dress up on weekends.  Weekends are my down time and I totally take advantage of it.  I stopped wearing sweats to go out and about when one time, I ran into one of our judges at the grocery store and after talking to her for a bit, I realized what a hot mess I looked like and vowed to at least put on some concealer.  AT LEAST.  In other news though, I am obsessed with this tunic I got from Nordstrom recently, hence, why I wore it two days in a row.  And it's on sale so of course I need more colors.  Duh.

I burned my Leaves candle all weekend long and it was glorious.  It's amazing how much better of a mood I am in when burning candles and Leaves is my favorite to burn in the fall.

I found the cutest pumpkins, below, in the Target dollar bins and they are just darling!  They were pretty much picked over so I hope to find some more later on so I can decorate the rest of the house.

And finally, my beloved Erin Condren Life Planner pre-pen (to non-planner nerds, pre-pen means before I've written in my to-dos).  Have I mentioned how obsessed I am with my planner?  PS - how cute are these housewives of orange county stickers from Small Town Grace?
