It's the holiday season and I am thrilled to decorate our new home and help Santa pick out some gifts for a sweet little boy that has only had a few naughty moments this year!  I already gave my husband a Macbook Pro for his birthday/early Christmas gift and plan on getting him a few little things on Christmas day.  Mr. Lucas, though, is on the move which is why most of the gifts I plan on getting him are activity type toys.  I can't wait to get to shopping for every one else in my life!

Shoe Lover

For the first time in a LOOONG time, I bought myself new shoes.  I couldn't resist the 30% and free shipping that Sole Society was offering last week and picked up two pairs.  I was on the fence with these flats but I'm glad I ended up purchasing them along with a pair of heels.  These are so comfy and I think the bow makes them cute.  I sized up half a size based on the reviews and they are perfect!  I've never been much of a shoe shopper but I think I've unleashed a monster and want to buy all of the shoes, all of the time...but what's new...

Fair Isle

It has been quite an eventful couple of weeks.  We are still settling into our new home but still feel like I have so much to do here.  On top of feeling the stress from the move, my entire family came down with a stomach virus.  Poor Lucas was the first to get sick and then the rest of my family soon followed.  I'll spare you the details but I don't ever remember being that ill.  Needless to say, I barely touched my mom's Thanksgiving dinner, sadly.  We finally have our appetites back and it's come just in time for the Christmas holiday season.  We didn't let a little stomach virus keep us from decorating our tree and, of course, holiday ONLINE shopping.  Oh yes, I stayed in the comfort of my own home and did not brave the crowds.  I'm not much of a physical shopper anymore and can't remember the last time I was inside of a mall.  I hope you all were able to score some amazing deals and had a lovely Thanksgiving!

Sunnies

Sunglasses are one of my favorite accessories.  I've had my eye on a certain style for awhile but with lots of moving, decorating, and home purchases expenses I've been having lately, pricey accessories just are not as important at the moment.  I was so happy that French brand, Polette, a leader on the online optical market, offered to send me one of their sunglasses.  I was even more ecstatic to see Polette carries sunglasses similar to the ones I have eyeing (pun intended) for awhile!  Okay, even MORE ecstatic to see that the price of lenses start from $6.99...seriously.  With highly competitive prices and even customization, it's no wonder that I absolutely love these frames!  I have been wearing these non-stop.  I chose the VIKKI sunglasses and I highly recommend them.  If you would like to check them out, their social media links are at the end of this post.

On the Go

Cardigans, pants, and hair up seems to be my jam lately.  I haven't figured out our new schedule yet and, clearly, steaming my clothes and drying my hair before work has not been put on the schedule.  Most mornings are pretty hectic and I very much look forward to getting into a schedule so I have more morning time with my little boy.  One day I say, one day!

It's been an absolutely crazy two weeks which is why I've been quiet on this blog.  The week before last, I was hit with a nasty virus that kept me home for almost a week.  I don't remember being that sick in a long time.  Then, last Friday, we closed on our first home!  So I finally have my closet back, yay!  AND it's all in boxes, NOT so yay!  We are slowly getting everything in order and, although, it's been chaotic, it's been amazing all at the same time.
