Sunnies

Sunglasses are one of my favorite accessories.  I've had my eye on a certain style for awhile but with lots of moving, decorating, and home purchases expenses I've been having lately, pricey accessories just are not as important at the moment.  I was so happy that French brand, Polette, a leader on the online optical market, offered to send me one of their sunglasses.  I was even more ecstatic to see Polette carries sunglasses similar to the ones I have eyeing (pun intended) for awhile!  Okay, even MORE ecstatic to see that the price of lenses start from $6.99...seriously.  With highly competitive prices and even customization, it's no wonder that I absolutely love these frames!  I have been wearing these non-stop.  I chose the VIKKI sunglasses and I highly recommend them.  If you would like to check them out, their social media links are at the end of this post.

On the Go

Cardigans, pants, and hair up seems to be my jam lately.  I haven't figured out our new schedule yet and, clearly, steaming my clothes and drying my hair before work has not been put on the schedule.  Most mornings are pretty hectic and I very much look forward to getting into a schedule so I have more morning time with my little boy.  One day I say, one day!

It's been an absolutely crazy two weeks which is why I've been quiet on this blog.  The week before last, I was hit with a nasty virus that kept me home for almost a week.  I don't remember being that sick in a long time.  Then, last Friday, we closed on our first home!  So I finally have my closet back, yay!  AND it's all in boxes, NOT so yay!  We are slowly getting everything in order and, although, it's been chaotic, it's been amazing all at the same time.

Baggy

This is definitely one of those comfy office clothes days.  Those days that you want to feel completely comfortable done up yet undone kinda days, if that makes any sense.  Reading that sentence back, it doesn't make sense to me either but I've been having lots of busy days lately and needing to feel more relaxed.  I'm hoping for that when things settle down (work, moving, etc) I can get more into the blogging routine because I miss it so much!

Fall Festivities

I wanted to share some of our fall activities we did last weekend.  It's so great seeing Lucas so happy and active in these photos since he's been so sick since Sunday.  He's feeling much better now but that's after a trip to the ER and doctor's visit.  But he's getting back to his ole playful self much like these photos show.  Last year, he was so little and seeing him running around the pumpkin patch this year warmed my heart.  So this post is very picture heavy but, as always, I can't choose just one picture of my guy <3

Neutrals

I promise I wasn't angry while taking these pictures contrary to my sour face above.  It was the first cold morning we've had this season and I realized that when packing up for our move, I put in storage all my warm clothes.  Luckily, our new home is days away from completion and I am thrilled!  For now though, I'm still working with my limited closet until I can unpack the rest out of storage.  

I've been loving black and camel colors together (seen here) and loved this look on Franziska.  Black and white will always be favorite color combos and it occurred to me that I've used the combination in lots of important aspects in my life (wedding, house, decor...)  I'm getting deep here, people...it's only Wednesday...
