Pane

I've been quite the little busy bee and have not had time for myself.  Hence, the silence over here.  I'm lucky there's a long weekend so I can try to catch up on life.  How is August already almost over?  I'm keeping this post short and sweet since Bravo and Pretty Little Liars are waiting for me.  Yes, I'm 31 and watch Pretty Little Liars...

Unapologetic

Sorry I'm not sorry that I'm one of those people who starts talking about fall and how I wish it was fall in mid August.  It is BOILING hot in Florida and I need some cool weather.  The office building I work in knows it's hot out and kindly sets the temperature at -10 degrees.  Hence, cardigans and, believe it or not, portable heaters are a must at the office.  Fall weather, please come soon...

Bright Stripes

This past Saturday was one of the best days we have had with our little boy.  We took him to Magic Kingdom at Disney World for the first time and I wish I could repeat that day over and over again!  Even though the park was crowded beyond belief, hotter than a chicken's coop, and a tad rainy, we had an unbelievably wonderful time.  Seeing my child light up like a Christmas tree and squeal at the sight of Mickey Mouse was worth it.  I literally had to hold him back so he could wait his turn to meet Mickey.  Magic Kingdom now has an attraction where you basically have a private room with Mickey.  He talks with you, takes pictures, and has one on one time with you and your group.  Lucas couldn't wait to run up to him.  It was so special seeing his eyes bright and talking to Mickey.  It was one of the best moments ever and I am already planning our next trip back!

I've Got Sunshine

I've been on the hunt for tortoise pattern shoes for awhile but I either didn't want to spend a lot or didn't like the fit.  Imaging my surprise when I spotted these online at Target and on sale!  Now, these are probably not going to last awhile but it will hold me over until I decide to spend more.  I think I paid something like $10?!  I'm now on the hunt for beige pointy bow flats since my beloved Me Too Patty flats are too small :-(  Darn pregnancy hormones...

Loungy

Something on the ground must have been very interesting this day OR they were the only two decent photos out of the bunch?  I'm gonna go with choice number 2.  I must admit that this isn't the most structured nor put together looks but sometimes I need to feel "loungy" to get a lot of work done.  (I made that word up, at least I think so.)  I need to feel like I can kick my shoes off and relax most days in order to accomplish tedious tasks.  Do you have loungy clothes you wear to work?

To Panama or not to Panama...Hat

(From top to bottom source 1, 2, 3 ,4 , 5, 6, 7, 8)

A couple of weeks ago, my sister had sent me a link to a Cuyana Panama hat saying that even though she wasn't a hat person, she still wanted the hat.  After making the mistake of not purchasing two of the hats immediately (one for me and one for her), it has since sold out and I'm still wondering if I can pull off a Panama hat...I'm craving for one bad!  Below are some of my favorite picks.  What do you think about the Panama hat and can anyone pull it off?
