2nd Wedding Anniversary

My husband and I are celebrating our 2nd wedding anniversary today.  Cliche but I feel like it was just yesterday that we were married.  We've been together for 13 years (we are high school sweethearts).  I loved everything about our wedding!  The best part of the wedding though had to be when my husband surprised me and everyone else by saying his vows in Spanish!  It's pretty hard to get me to cry, especially in front of people, but I became a mess hearing him say his vows in Spanish to me :-)

I became very detail oriented but I really thought that choosing my dress was going to be the easiest part...wrong!  I tried on soooo many dresses in so many boutiques in so many different cities.  BUT, when I tried on my dress...there was no other dress tried on after.  My dress was the Monique Lhullier 'Elle' dress.  The only slight alteration I made was to "sweetheart" the neckline. Oh, my mom made my veil and the ribbon belt I wore around my dress!  Warning: This post is picture heavy!

Happy Father's Day

My dad is the funniest little tall man I know!  He works very hard and instilled in me work ethic while still having fun.  He's a huge sports fan and made all of us determined Florida Gators and NY Yankees fans!  During his speech at my wedding, he made everyone laugh, cry, laugh, and cry and you can tell my the look on our faces, we had a great time!  He also is the only man in a family of 5 women, 8 if you count the dogs, eek!  Happy Father's Day!
