Five Facts

It's April Fools Day and although I'm terrible with pranks, I thought I could share five facts you may or may not know about me.  I did almost put glitter in my husband's shampoo so that when he took a shower this morning glitter would get all over him but then I realized we would all be late for work. #Priorities

1.  It may not come to a surprise that I am a makeup junkie but I am also OBSESSED with youtube makeup gurus.  Babies have nighttime routines, I have a nighttime routine as well and it involves binging on makeup videos until I fall sleep with the earphones still in my ears.  My favorites are Pixiwoo, Petra, and Carly.

2.  I am the oldest of 4 girls.  FOUR GIRLS!  My dad was seriously outnumbered.  We all live scattered apart with me in Florida, Melisa and Ana in Nashville, and Adriana in New York City.  I miss them all dearly and thankful for facetime.  They are such great Aunties and I know Lucas misses them too.

3.  My husband and I are both high school sweethearts and began dating when I was 16.  He and I were both voted Best All Around Senior Superlative, homecoming court sweetheart, and I was the Prom Queen.  No joke, he is still bitter about not winning Prom King.

4.  When I was younger, my mom put me in talent shows every year and while other kids sang Paula Abdul, Debbie Gibson, etc, I sang Gloria Estefan songs.  For reals.

5.  My husband and I didn't only go to high school together, we also went to college together (GO GATORS!) and law school together.  I think he's stalking me.

Bright Stripes

This past Saturday was one of the best days we have had with our little boy.  We took him to Magic Kingdom at Disney World for the first time and I wish I could repeat that day over and over again!  Even though the park was crowded beyond belief, hotter than a chicken's coop, and a tad rainy, we had an unbelievably wonderful time.  Seeing my child light up like a Christmas tree and squeal at the sight of Mickey Mouse was worth it.  I literally had to hold him back so he could wait his turn to meet Mickey.  Magic Kingdom now has an attraction where you basically have a private room with Mickey.  He talks with you, takes pictures, and has one on one time with you and your group.  Lucas couldn't wait to run up to him.  It was so special seeing his eyes bright and talking to Mickey.  It was one of the best moments ever and I am already planning our next trip back!
