Life Lately: Little Sister's Nashville Wedding

Long time no see!  It's been quite a few weeks and I'll try to catch up as I start blogging regularly again.  Throughout the past couple weeks, I've been on and off bed rest due to ongoing Braxton Hicks contractions.  I'm still working full-time, so I've been balancing taking care of my body, working, Lucas, life, etc. so unfortunately, blogging went to the bottom of the totem pole.  We also just got back from Nashville for my sister's wedding which are the photos I'm sharing below.

My sister got married at the Nashville Symphony which was an absolutely beautiful venue!  I was maid of honor and little Lucas was a ring bearer.  His bow tie, suspenders, and Chucks outfit was too too cute!  Shockingly, not only did Lucas walk down the aisle but he was the perfect angel throughout the ceremony and sat quietly on my sister, Ana's lap.  I didn't want to jinx it so I tried not to make eye contact with him!

We had such a great time spending time with family and celebrating Melisa and Jeremy.  It was also special to spend Mother's Day in Nashville with all of my family.

Shirt: Nordstrom  /  Pants: GAP  /  Shoes: Nordstrom  /  Necklace: Kendra Scott  /  Bag: Rebecca Minkoff (my mother's day gift and I absolutely LOVE IT!!!!! The color is to die for!)

Lucas sitting quietly as the girls got their hair and makeup done.  Can you tell that I emphasize when he's quiet?  He's definitely a firecracker!

I mean...I mean...

Lucas was in heaven with his Aunties!

Mom, sisters, and I

FYI Finding a maid of honor dress to wear at 7 months pregnant was no easy task but I went with this similar J.Crew dress and had it altered like no other.

The happy married couple.

This was such a sweet gift from my sister!  She and I love this Burberry perfume and she had it engraved which makes it extra special :-)

  1. That bow tie and those suspenders! So cute! And I feel ya on the pregnant bridesmaid dress! When I had to pick out my dress at Christmas with my sister in law, we weren't telling anyone we were starting to try for baby. So, I bought my dress like 5 sizes too big just in case. I thought, there's no way I will be 6 months pregnant for this....ha! Jokes on me. Luckily I found an amazing woman who can fix anything and turned a potato sack into something actually flattering! I hope your contractions and pain these last few weeks is manageable and you are able to find some comfort!

  2. I didn't know you could monogram perfume bottles. Great gift. You looked great and your sister was a beautiful bride. Yay for kids being on exemplary behavior. lol
