OMG OMG OMG! I'm taking a vacation for the first time since my honeymoon in Paris FIVE years ago! Sure, we've had a couple day trips or weekend trips but not anything longer than three days. It's our first family vacay, except my baby doxie, Mia, is going to guard our house while we're away...well, she'll help my brother-in-law of course, house sit. Anywho, I'm so excited and started getting some beachwear ready and packed away. I'm still looking for at least one more coverup and maybe another suit but for the most part, I'm packed and ready to go!
Of course, what kind of toddler mom would I be without lugging around a huge tote bag in addition to my cute totes pictured above. Below is a picture of the bag holding all of Lucas' beach toys and floaties. Please let me know if you have any suggestions on bringing toddlers to the beach!

Hooray for vacay!! I'd say to bring snacks, drinks and lots of toys for Lucas. Also, water shoes are great because you don't have to worry about them stepping on something sharp, the sand being too hot, etc. Olive wore water shoes and was eager to explore the beach. Hope you have a wonderful time.
