Accessorized

I've lately regained by obsession with accessories and shoes.  I know, who loses interest in accessories but I did.  My sweet husband recently gifted me with this beautiful Kendra Scott Rayne Necklace in Mother Pearl and I wasted no time in wearing it.  It was to be a Mother's Day gift but I don't mind receiving it a little early.  Don't mind if I do.  I also have gone on a shoe buying spree.  SPREE I tell you!  During my pregnancy, my feet grew an entire size.  One. Whole. Size.  I thought I would be able to fit into my old shoes eventually but two years later and my feet are still ginormous.  I tried to get away with wearing one or two pairs of shoes but people I work full time all day long and apparently I like to beat my shoes up.  I'm not going to lie and say I've hated having to buy new shoes because I don't hate it.

PS One of my favorite bloggers, MK, posted a similar outfit yesterday hence why I lurve her style!

  1. My feet also grew one whole size after having Olive. I have been holding out hope that my feet would miraculously shrink back down to fit in my pre-baby shoes, but like you said, two years later and it's still not happening. I need to reevaluate my shoe needs and get shopping :)

  3. This outfit is VERY flattering on you! Thanks for the style inspiration. I've been a stay-at-home mom for nearly 14 years, dressing as casually as I can. This year I've started to care more about the way I look, and dresses have made their way back to my closet. I love how pretty they make me feel, even though some of them are more comfortable than yoga pants!

    1. Thank you! I feel the same way about dresses. Since having my son until now, I was in a rut and just felt like a frump. I now have a surge to care more about what I look like but I still crave comfy clothes :-)
