Yep, those are Birkenstocks on my feet. Judge allllll you want because the feet on this girl aren't paying attention! These sandals are crazy comfortable and after months of being uncomfortable in heels, I'm loving it.
My feet literally grew an entire size during my pregnancy so I've sadly had to part with many of my shoes. As I was out shopping in search of comfortable work shoes, I spotted a pair of Birkenstock sandals on display. I reminisced to my middle school days when all the kids at my private school started wearing these sandals. Soon, the school administrators caught on to the fad and decided to ban the shoes altogether right then and there. Later in life, I would think, why did I ever want to wear such ugly shoes?! But then, I decided to devote my life to a career where heels are almost mandatory at the office and, thus, my feet craved comfort. This whole story is said to justify why I told my husband that what I really wanted for Christmas was a pair of Birkenstock sandals. He gave me the whaaaat look. I said, seriously, I want them. And my feet thank him every time these little clouds are worn.

My best friend rocks her birkenstocks ALL the time....I'm past judging and moved on to can I borrow those for about five minutes? Don't sell those shoes! I parted with a ton of my nice shoes after my first and about a year later they shrank and regretted giving them all away. Although if any happen to be a size 7 1/2 or 8 I might want to take part in the shoe cleanse!

Those sunnies look great on you too- they're a perfect fit for your face shape. I totally get the comfort thing- I live in flats and rain boots now.
