The morning we took these pictures, I couldn't take my eyes off my belly because Lucas was definitely zumba dancing in there; hence why I'm holding my back for dear life. Maybe I shouldn't have eating flan again for breakfast? Yeah, that's right, I said again.
We had another appointment this week and we got to see our little man on the ultrasound. This guy is measuring 7 pounds 11 ounces which means I should probably confess something. I'm not sure if I've mentioned this before but here goes...I was a 10.5 pound baby. I would say 10.5 newborn but c'mon 10.5 ain't newborn. Karma is coming to get me with this baby. If I make it to 40 weeks, he could weigh around 10 pounds. This has given me more ammo to garner some sympathy from my husband. Now, I've been saying, can you puhleez drive across town to get me praline ice cream? I might be pushing out a 10 pound baby soon!

ReplyDeleteMy last little girl weighed 10.6 @ 39 weeks, I was huge and ended up having a scheduled C-section because there was no way that baby was going to come out any other way...lol

ReplyDeleteI love this outfit of yours, Maria! You look so darn cute - I bet you're getting excited for Lucas to finally arrive! My brother and I were each 3-4 weeks early, and both of us were nearly 8 lbs. My mom was so happy we came early, or we would have been huge! :)

Maria, you look great! I love how in the last few posts you have had this different look to you. I think it is the fact that besides the swelling, and the Zumba (cuteness) your body knows that you are going to meet a precious being that will be all yours!
