Preparing for New Celebrations

This weekend is Father's Day and the first that my husband will get to celebrate as a daddy to be.  I was and still am blessed with an amazing father that does anything for me and my sisters so I feel even more lucky to know that my son will also have a great father.  My husband has gone above and beyond for Lucas already. Every time he goes to the store by himself, I can fully expect that he has bought something for the baby.  The other morning I woke up to see he had washed all the newborn and 0-3 month clothes.  The best was when I received an email from him late at night with an attachment titled "hospital packing list."  He literally typed out everything we need for the hospital bags and he's been gathering everything together ever since.  I could cry thinking of all he's done for me and Lucas so even though Lucas isn't here yet, I hope that this Father's Day is a special one for him :-)

  1. Wow your hubby is a keeper! That's total organization. I am pretty sure I packed my bag when my water broke. Have a fun weekend!

  2. I'm not going to cry. That made me a little emotional. You are a lucky girl and your baby will grow to be a wonderful man with exceptional parents. Happy Fathers day!!
