This past weekend, my husband and I took a newborn care and child birth class. Although I grew up babysitting a lot, so much has changed since then. I'm not going to lie, I left feeling scared that I'm not prepared. I know I'm never going to be 100% prepared but at the moment, it's all daunting. I'm lucky that my husband tells me he's 99.9% confident (even if he's just saying that to make me feel better). It was actually really fun to see him in these classes asking questions, changing the doll diapers, and "coaching" me during the breathing exercises. Thankfully, he's been there to make me laugh throughout this experience :-)

Maria - you look so pretty in this outfit, I love it with the red flats. I remember taking those classes and felt so overwhelmed. The one thing I did learn and still use to this day is how to get up from the ground. Nothing to due with babies and it helps with my old body!
ReplyDeleteAnd I don't think any one is ever prepared to have a baby even if they've had 1. My hubby & I were the total clueless parents where we didn't even know how to adjust the baby car seat belts trying to take my son home from the hospital.

You look ADORABLE! I love this outfit! (And although I am not a mother, I know it's natural to worry and everyone keeps saying that instinct kicks in and everything just comes to you...I'm sure you will be a wonderful Mommy!)
