I recently received an email from someone in law school (don't worry, not gonna call you out!) asking for advice about school, etc. I know I don't talk about work mainly because this blog is my "fun space" but one of the things I have enjoyed most about blogging is connecting with others. Law school was an extremely difficult time and, although, I am by no means perfect and can give excellent advice, I've been there. Every day I learn something new. Every day I am humbled by the people I meet and the clients I see. Just when I think I know everything there is to know about lawyering, something pops up and I'm back to researching. Just like blogging, it helps to seek others and talk about similar interests. Have I mentioned how much I love the blogging community? :-)
Lovely blues! How great to connect with someone going into your field!

If I haven't said it before I drink my coffee every morning reading blogs. I feel like you're just old friends I've never talked to or actually seen :)I LOVE that shirt! How do the Limited skirts compare to Jcrew pencil skirts?
ReplyDeleteI wear the same size in both. The Limited skirts fabric is thinner than the JCrew ones.
DeleteI love the blogging community too! I think it's great that you'll be able to give that reader some advice about school :) I LOVE your anchor top!

I would be so sad without this community! I have a very small group of friends, most of which live far away. So blogging really helps me to connect with other ladies who love fashion, beauty, and other "girly" things just as much as I do! Lovely outfit too by the way :)
ReplyDeleteGirl you look fabulous!! I love the navy and bright blue. I also love the anchor print!

I have this skirt too, and plan to wear it with a navy top. Problem is, I am a little stumped as to what other colors match it (besides navy and black - snore!). What else do you wear with it?
ReplyDeletexo,
Fellow Esq.
I think creams would look nice and maybe gold or silver tones. And yay for a fellow esq.!
DeleteI think that's my favorite thing about blogging too - the community and being able to connect and relate to people through both my blog and the blogs of others. I love your outfit, that anchor top is adorable and it looks great with the bright blue skirt!

I love these 2 items together! I have the same 2 pieces and never thought to wear them together. It's amazing how blogging has created new friendships from all over the world. It's one aspect of blogging that I really enjoy.
