Crimson Blues

The last time I owned red shoes, I think I was five.  Since I've organized my shoes into racks, I noticed a trend - 98.5% of my shoes are black, tan, and like 3 with some sort of color.  When I saw these shoes on Piperlime, I placed the black version of the shoes in my basket but then something reminded me that maybe you don't need another pair of black flats.  However, because I adore these flats and they are sooooo comfy, I think I may buy another pair in a neutral color so I can wear them more often.  Does anyone else stick to neutrals when buying shoes?

  7. I love colored shoes and that is my problem. I have so many colors and not a lot of good neutrals :( I'm not a fan of pointed shoes but I love these! You look amazing!

  9. I do the same thing with shoes...I buy neutrals because they're more versatile. I need to branch out and buy some shoes in other colors! Love the studs on this pair :)

  15. Such a classic outfit! Looks fabulous on you. Those shoes are gorgeous. The shade of red is beautiful. I tend to stick to neutral footwear also, but have recently been on a bit of a colour kick.

  16. I used to wear the same black shoes, all the time. I am slowly adding color - it's so much more fun now! I never would have guessed I would have yellow shoes, but now I want to wear them every day! Plus red, leopard, and so on :)

  17. I love this outfit-so classy and polished, and the red shoes are the perfect touch of fun! I tend to buy neutral shoes too, over and over again. I should try to branch out this fall.

  18. I have the opposite problem! I tend to favor more colorful shoes because I always think it's better to pay for something bold and funky than for something conservative that you can get anywhere. The problem is, sometimes I need a plain pair of black flats, and then I can't find them anywhere! I finally found those in TJ Maxx, but I'm still on the lookout for beige ones. And the same is true for purses! I have all kinds of colors and patterns but I don't own a large, everyday wear black bag. Can't find a single one I like!

Anyway, I love this look so much! Business chic executed to perfection. The colors are perfect for the fall, and that polka dot blouse is probably really versatile, huh? Love it all, from head to toe. Glad I found ya (via The Fashionable ESQ, btw).

    Kisses from Miami!

  19. Love these flats & such a great deal! I am tempted.

I love shoes and have way too many black and many shades of brown shoes. I do have quiet a bit of color as well. I am on the hunt for blue heels and just can't find the shade that I want.

  20. Ugh I was leaving a comment before and it didn't post! I was saying that I loved your studded shoes. A way more affordable option than Valentino or even the Ivanka Trump version!
