Country Chic

Sometimes my shopping habit of stalking an item and waiting for it to go on sale fails me miserably.  By the time my prized item has hit the sales, either my size or color I want are sold out.  I had been patiently waiting for these Aldo Leggat sandals to go on sale...okay, that's a lie because I was willing to pay full price but could never get my hands on them.  Finally, last week a pair in my size and color popped up online AND on sale so the wait was meant to be!

Shoes: Aldo 'Leggat'  /  Skirt: White House Black Market  /  Shirt: Old Navy  /  Handbag: Coach 'Kristin'  / Jewelry: Forever 21, Macy's, Vince Camuto, David Yurman

  1. This is adorable! I totally love your shoes, they look so cute with the gingham!

  2. I know what you mean! I always pass up my favorite full-priced items and wait for them to go on sale which usually backfires when none are left :(

You look so cute! Love that top and those shoes are SO pretty.

  3. maria this is probably my favorite look i've ever seen you wear. i am IN LOVEEEEEE it's so so fabulous!!!

  4. Oh Maria, another fantastic outfit! I don't know why I avoided the gingham prints so long (maybe the flashbacks of HeeHaw? Anyone remember that OLD show?) but it you accessorize them right, like you did here, they are just so darn chic! Love!!

  5. adorable outfit! xo

  6. You've made gingham look so polished Maria....very chic!

  7. Very lucky! I always do the same thing...I keep saying I'll wait until the next paycheck to buy and then boom, sold out in my size! This outfit is wonderful, perfect for a Friday. Love the gingham tucked into a skirt!

  8. admittedly im not so much of a country girl myself, but i love how you updated the checked print with the skirt and shoes!
